PITTSBURGH (AP) — Injured Pittsburgh Steelers Ryan Shazier doesn’t just plan to play again following a spinal injury. He says he wants to make it all the way to the Hall of Fame.

Lady Dragons win City League title in comeback fashion


Allderdice (15-9) scored only 16 points in the first half and trailed by three. But the Lady Dragons came on strong in the second half and slipped past Westinghouse (13-7), 49-42, to win the City League championship Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Petersen Events Center.

Allderdice defeated Westinghouse, 66-46, at the Petersen Events Center for a fifth consecutive City League boys title, Feb. 17. That accomplishment hasn’t been done since Westinghouse ran off a title run spanning 1950-1954.

Hall of Famer Orlando Cepeda critical after cardiac incident

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The San Francisco Giants say Hall of Famer Orlando Cepeda remains hospitalized in critical condition after a cardiac incident.

The Giants gave an update Wednesday on the condition of the 80-year-old Cepeda. He was taken to a Bay Area hospital late Monday.
